Crossed the Rainbow Bridge - January 27, 2025
Before crossing the Rainbow Bridge, Klo got to enjoy time with all of her favorite people, and she got to do all of her favorite things!
Camping, where she got to chase bunnies and birds!
A weekend at the agility field with all of her favorite people!
Lots of snuggles from the whole family!
Walking around Liberty Station to chase birds and squirrels!
Paddle boarding and watching the birds and jumping fishies!
Walking around Seaport Village to chase birds and say hello to all the humans!
Several visits with her favorite rehab team at Animals Only!
Klo's final day on this Earth was everything we could have hoped for. She still had plenty of energy to give us LOTS of sassy "awoowoos". She chased her sister, Mira, around the yard and gave her lots of kisses. She played a little tug with me and her Grand-Paw too!
Klo helped me add her name to the pretty pink urn that holds Odie's ashes, so it would be all ready for her once she is back home with us. She also helped inspire version 2.0 of this website and supervised the start of the revamp!
I sent Klo over the Rainbow Bridge with a braided lock of my hair around her neck, so that she will always have a piece of me with her while we are apart. She also took a lock of hair to give to Odie too!
My sweet, and sassy, and always happy girl,
There are so many things I want to tell you, I don’t know where to start. I’ve said all of this to you before, but I need you to hear it one last time while you’re still here…
You have been the best little, middle, and big sister throughout your lifetime. You always have been and always will be the bestest girl in the whole wide world.
You were the dog I never knew I needed, and I am so grateful you found me, and that you helped me find myself.
I’m sorry I didn’t do better sooner, I wish I had always been the human I am now for you.
Thank you for your patience and unconditional love, even when I didn’t deserve it.
Thank you for helping me learn how to do better.
I have admired your strength through all of the tough moments in your lifetime.
Your ability to heal, adapt, and thrive has been an inspiration to me.
Thank you for helping me push through the hardest of times, and kissing my tears away.
I’m so grateful for our time together, but especially for the last 5 years of “borrowed time”.
Thank you for the countless memories and adventures.
Your constant happiness has always given me a reason to smile, and always will.
